Miller is our foundation bitch and an exceptional representation of the breed. She has consistently proven herself in multiple venues since she was just a puppy and wins everyone over with her sweet disposition. She is very high drive with a lovely off-switch in the house. Watching her in a field is truly life’s great privilege. She can stop on a dime with staunch and flashy points, and ranges quite far out. Miller is not afraid to get a little dirty, run through briar and thorns, or get wet if it means getting to the bird. She has always naturally loved the water since just a puppy. No matter how cold the water is, she’s most definitely getting in it. She won the hearts and turned the heads of the Carolinas NAVHDA Chapter in 2023 earning a Natural Ability Prize 1. Aside from being a phenomenal hunting dog, she has competed in NADD dock diving, barn hunt, nosework, and FastCAT and gives everything 110%. In conformation, she won a specialty winners bitch under breeder judge Lucretia Coonrod in 2024 and again in 2026 at the same specialty for a major. At our first GSPCA National Specialty in 2026, Miller was in the Open class at the time and placed 3rd under breeder judge Leita Estes.

At home, Miller is a lovely family companion that melts for affection. She doesn’t like to be alone and loves being with her people, even if it’s just a quick ride up to Starbucks together. She is content to snuggle next to you on the couch all day, but could also run for hours during a hunting trip or just alongside a 4Wheeler. She makes the best hiking and canicross partner, too. She is well-known in the house for her love of tennis balls and will most definitely find the one you tried to hide from her on the top shelf or in the drawer.
